Financing disclosures.
Gap Match is a service GivePanda is building to show a family financing offers for the part of a treatment cost their community has not covered. It is not currently available. These disclosures describe how it will work when it is.
How offers are ranked
Offers are ranked by the total amount the loan would cost you, lowest first — monthly payment times term, plus all fees, minus what you borrow. What a lender pays GivePanda is disclosed beside every offer and is never part of the ranking.
This is the rule the ranking software is tested against. The same text is recorded with every set of offers shown, so what is written here is what a borrower saw on the day they compared.
How GivePanda is compensated
GivePanda may receive compensation from a lender when a loan arranged through Gap Match is funded. That compensation does not determine which offers you see or the order in which they appear. Offers are ranked by their total cost to you, as stated above, and a lender cannot pay for a higher position. The amount and source of any compensation is disclosed on the screen where offers are compared.
GivePanda is not a lender, a broker, or a credit-reporting agency. It does not make credit decisions, does not guarantee that any offer will be made or that any application will be approved, and does not set the terms of any loan. Any loan is a contract between you and the lender, on the lender's terms, and the lender is responsible for the disclosures the law requires of it.
Nothing on GivePanda is financial, legal, or tax advice. Whether to accept any offer is your decision, and you are free to decline every one.
What a lender is shown
A lender never sees your page. The information shared to obtain an offer is a fixed, limited set of fields, shared only when you ask for offers, and it does not include your story, your photographs, or the kind of treatment you are paying for.
