After 2 years of infertility, surgeries and unsuccessful IVF treatments, we experienced the miracle we'd been waiting for: a surprise pregnancy with our daughter. But in November 2024, what should have been the happiest day of our lives nearly become our last together.

During Annabelle's delivery, Elizabeth suffered a life-threatening hemorrhage and underwent an emergency hysterectomy to save her life. In 1 day, we welcomed our greatest blessing and Elizabeth lost her ability to ever carry another child. We're endlessly grateful that she survived and that we get to watch our beautiful daughter grow, but we still dream of giving her a sibling to share life's adventures with.

Thankfully, we have 8 healthy embryos from our prior IVF struggles, giving us hope that our family can still be completed.

Gestational surrogacy is now our only path to another biological child, but the overwhelming costs present a financial barrier we cannot overcome alone. After everything we've been through, asking for help is difficult, but we're holding on to the hope of one more little heartbeat and watching our daughter become the best big sister.
