Help Us Make Our Dream of Becoming Parents a Reality ❤️

For as long as I can remember, becoming a mom has been one of my biggest dreams. My husband has always dreamed of being a dad, too. Nine years ago, when we first fell in love, he shared with me that he had Klinefelter syndrome and had been told he would most likely never have biological children. Even then, I knew I wasn’t going to give up on the future we dreamed of together. I believed that somehow, someday, we would find our way to becoming parents.

Today, after nearly five years of trying to conceive, countless fertility appointments, sperm testing, acupuncture, supplements, lifestyle changes, and more negative pregnancy tests than we can count, that dream is still very much alive.

Our journey has led us to microTESE surgery and IVF, which could give us an opportunity to have the family we’ve always dreamed of. While we feel confident in our ability to provide a loving and financially stable home for a child, the costs of fertility treatments are a tremendous obstacle for us as a small business owner and a husband beginning a new career in plumbing.

We are not the type of people who typically ask for help, let alone ask others for money. It’s honestly a little uncomfortable putting ourselves out there this way. We’ve always believed in working hard, figuring things out, and doing what we can with what we have. But we’ve also realized that sometimes reaching a dream takes a little help from the people around us. This is one of those times, and we’re putting our pride aside because starting a family is something we’re willing to fight for.

We’re doing everything we can to make this happen. We’ve started selling our gently used clothing and household items, putting aside savings, and finding additional ways to raise money toward our goal. We are determined to keep fighting for the family we’ve envisioned for so many years.

We’re creating this fundraiser to ask our family, friends, and anyone who feels moved by our story to help us take one step closer to starting our family.
