Help Us Bring Our Little Pooh Bear Home 🧸💛

I always dreamed of having a big family someday. My wife, on the other hand, never wanted children.

Because of the emotional trauma and abuse she experienced, motherhood was something she wanted no parts of. She couldn’t understand wanting to give a child something she never received herself—security, patience, unconditional love, and the feeling of being completely safe and accepted.

I understand that feeling more than she knows. I’ve experienced emotional trauma too, and it taught me something I carry with me every day. I know exactly how important it is to give my children the love, patience, security, and protection that we both deserved growing up.

The difference between us was that I had always dreamed about becoming a mom and having a big family. She never had that dream at all.

So when she started talking about wanting to be a mommy, I knew how incredibly big that moment was.

After years of being together, healing, growing, and going through life’s trials and tribulations side by side, she found a love that was patient with her. A love that didn’t ask her to forget what she’d been through, but showed her that her past didn’t have to determine her future.

And somewhere along the way, she started dreaming about a child of our own.

We started calling that little dream Pooh Bear. 🧸

Now we’re hoping to grow our family through reciprocal IVF—with my eggs, donor sperm, and my wife carrying our baby.

For both of us, this isn’t simply about having a child. It’s about creating the kind of family we both deserved. A home filled with security, patience, affection, understanding, laughter, and unconditional love.

And for my wife especially, seeing her go from never wanting children to dreaming about becoming Pooh Bear’s mommy is something I don’t take for granted. ❤️

Unfortunately, IVF and the medications we need aren’t covered by our insurance, so we’re asking for help making this dream a reality.

Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to meeting our Pooh Bear. And if you can’t donate, sharing our story means just as much to us.

We can’t wait for the day Pooh Bear isn’t just a nickname for our dream, but the little person we’re holding in our arms. 🧸💛
