Our Journey to Parenthood

My wife and I are seeking help with one of the most challenging seasons of our lives. We have always dreamed of building a family, and while we have worked hard to prepare for that future, unexpected life events have created significant financial obstacles.

Earlier this year, my wife lost her contract as a paraprofessional. Just 30 days later, while we were in the middle of the IVF pre-screening process, I was unexpectedly laid off from my job. Before my layoff, we had comprehensive health insurance that gave us hope we could move forward with fertility treatment. Unfortunately, continuing that coverage through COBRA has proven to be financially out of reach while we are without my previous income.

Despite these hardships, our commitment to becoming parents has never wavered. We continue to support one another, adapt to life's unexpected changes, and work toward building a secure future together.
