Our Family-Building Journey

As a family devoted to serving others in EMS and through my partner’s service as a army medic, we are usually the ones offering support. Yet, now we find ourselves in a position of seeking help to create the family we desire. With a new home and a bedroom waiting for a child, we hope to provide a loving environment for a miracle baby, one that will be surrounded by the same compassion we extend to others. My son Cohen will always hold a special place in my heart, and his memory guides me as I consider expanding my family. While I struggled with feelings of guilt and uncertainty, I've come to understand that bringing another child into our lives would not diminish Cohen’s significance. My partner and I are eager to honor his memory by raising a child who will be enveloped in love and cherished deeply, as we continue to heal and grow together as a family.
