Joni & Mike's IVF Journey

For the past five years, I have been trying to conceive and have experienced significant challenges with infertility. During this journey, I have faced difficulties with hormone levels, ovulation, and concerns regarding egg quality. What began as something I hoped would happen naturally has become a long and emotionally and financially challenging process.

I have continued to pursue answers and work with medical professionals to better understand my fertility and determine what options may give me the best opportunity for a successful pregnancy. Unfortunately, fertility treatment can be extremely expensive, and the financial burden has made pursuing the treatment I need even more difficult.

After five years of trying, I am not ready to give up on the hope of becoming a mother. Receiving this grant would mean much more than financial assistance. It would give me an opportunity to continue pursuing treatment and would help remove one of the significant barriers standing between me and the possibility of having a child.

I understand that many deserving individuals and families apply for fertility assistance, and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be considered. Thank you for taking the time to learn about my journey and for providing support to people facing the challenges of infertility.

How we'll use the funds: The grant funds would be used toward the medical expenses associated with fertility treatment, including fertility consultations, diagnostic testing, medications, monitoring, and treatment costs related to attempting to conceive. After five years of trying to become pregnant and experiencing challenges with hormone levels, ovulation, and egg quality, financial assistance would allow me to pursue the treatment recommended by my fertility specialist without the cost being such a significant barrier.

This support would give me the opportunity to continue pursuing my dream of becoming a mother and would provide hope during what has been an incredibly long and difficult journey.
