Jon & Krista's IVF Journey
Organised by Krista Bannister · October 14, 2026

Jon and I got married in 2021 and spent the next three years trying to start a family. After years of trying without success, we learned that because of PCOS and a lack of regular ovulation, conceiving naturally would likely be very difficult for us.
That’s what led us to IVF.
We are now about halfway through the process and incredibly grateful to have several healthy embryos waiting for us. We’ve completed the retrieval portion of IVF, but we have now reached the point in treatment where insurance is no longer covering the remaining costs and we have paid out of pocket as much as we can.
Our next major step is the embryo transfer. We feel incredibly fortunate to have healthy embryos ready for that next step, but there is still a significant financial burden standing between us and finishing the process.
We are so close, and we’re asking for a little help getting there.
As a thank-you, Krista is handcrafting Anthropologie-inspired necklaces for those who choose to donate. Each necklace will be made and sent personally by Krista as a small reminder of the people who helped us continue our journey toward becoming parents.
Whether you choose to donate, share our story, pray for us, or simply cheer us on, we are incredibly grateful for the support.
Thank you for helping us get one step closer to growing our family.
