James & Elijah's IVF Journey

Organised by James Agnew II · September 13, 2026

Becoming fathers is something my husband and I have deeply hoped and planned for, and we are finally at a point where we are ready to begin making that dream a reality. As a same-sex male couple, building our family requires additional medical and financial steps that can make the path to parenthood incredibly expensive. We are committed to doing everything we can to make this happen, but financial assistance would make an enormous difference for us. We would be incredibly grateful for the opportunity to receive support as we begin this journey toward becoming parents.

How we'll use the funds: The grant would help cover the costs associated with IVF and creating embryos, including fertility treatment, donor eggs, embryo creation and genetic testing. Any assistance would help reduce the financial barrier to building our family and allow us to move forward with treatment.

Our journey so far We recently began researching our options and are preparing for our fertility consultation at Pinnacle Fertility, where we'll begin developing our personalized plan for building our family.

What this would mean to us Becoming fathers would mean so much more to us than simply starting a family. It would mean creating a new chapter of our lives and building the family we have both dreamed of having. Both of us have experienced the heartbreak of losing immediate family members, and those losses have changed the way we look at family, love, and the time we have together. Losing people who were such an important part of our lives has made us realized just how precious it is to have people to love, memories to create, and a family to come home to. We dream of the little things like celebrating birthdays and holidays together, creating traditions, family vacations, and building a life together. This support would truly help us take a step toward creating the family we've dreamed about and the future we hope to share with our child.
