<p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">I wasn’t sure I’d ever make a fundraiser or ever allow anyone to support us on this journey—but as an advocate for infertility, I felt (of course, after much sought counsel—God) compelled to allow the community and my support system to come alongside us. A journey that has been emotionally and financially taxing. Over the years, many people have asked how they could support us—offering prayers, encouragement, and even financial help. For a long time, I hesitated. But I’ve come to realize that allowing others to give is not a burden, it’s a blessing. I had to release the idea that strength meant doing this alone. I had to lay down pride and pick up faith—trusting that God would not only sustain us but also surround us with people who would pour into us when we needed it most. It’s not easy to be this vulnerable, but I know there is power in community and healing in being seen.</span></p> <p class="p2" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;min-height: 20px;color: #000000"></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">For the past seven years, my husband and I have been on a journey filled with hope, heartbreak, resilience, and unwavering faith. Every year, we’ve prayed, waited, cried, believed, and tried again—because the dream of holding our baby in our arms has never left our hearts.</span></p> <p class="p2" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;min-height: 20px;color: #000000"></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">Our journey began with a diagnosis of PCOS, followed by a season of unexplained infertility. After countless appointments and rounds of testing, we discovered that my fallopian tubes were blocked. Once we received that news, we took a brave step and began our IVF journey in 2022.</span></p> <p class="p2" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;min-height: 20px;color: #000000"></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">But that first chapter was short-lived. A serious side effect of the treatment left me with blood clots—thankfully discovered before they reached my heart. What followed was an unexpected hospital stay and a pause that stung deeply.</span></p> <p class="p2" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;min-height: 20px;color: #000000"></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">One year later, we found the courage to try again—only to learn that I had developed 21 fibroids. That discovery led to an invasive surgery and the removal of one of my fallopian tubes.</span></p> <p class="p2" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;min-height: 20px;color: #000000"></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">Now, 8 months later, we are here—ready to begin the journey again. Still hopeful. Still believing.</span></p> <p class="p2" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;min-height: 20px;color: #000000"></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">For a long time, I carried the weight of infertility in silence. I felt embarrassed, even ashamed, as if my body had betrayed me. But one day, in a quiet moment of prayer, God whispered to my heart: “Hold onto My hope.” Since then, Jeremiah 29:11 has become the anchor of my soul:</span></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”</span></p> <p class="p2" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;min-height: 20px;color: #000000"></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">This verse reminds me that even when the path is unclear and the waiting feels unbearable, God is still writing our story.</span></p> <p class="p2" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;min-height: 20px;color: #000000"></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">We are picking up our IVF journey with renewed faith and open hearts. As many of you know, IVF is not just emotionally and physically demanding—it is also financially overwhelming. We’re not sharing this to ask—we’re simply making room for those who’ve asked to give. This is an invitation for those who’ve said, </span><span class="s2" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleItalicBody;font-style: italic">“We want to support you,”</span><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody"> to do just that. And if all you can offer is your prayers, encouragement, or simply your presence—please know that means the world to us, too.</span></p> <p class="p2" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;min-height: 20px;color: #000000"></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">Your support brings us one step closer to the child we’ve been praying for.</span></p> <p class="p2" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;min-height: 20px;color: #000000"></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for walking with us. Thank you for seeing us. And thank you for believing that miracles still happen.</span></p> <p class="p2" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;min-height: 20px;color: #000000"></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody">With love and hope,</span></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"><span class="s3" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleEmphasizedBody;font-weight: bold">Greg & Kevia Holmes</span></p> <p class="p1" style="margin: 0px;font-size: 15px;line-height: normal;color: #000000"></p>

Still holding onto Faith
Hey family, As we step into 2026, we wanted to share an update and let you know that we are still on this journey. A few months ago, I shared where we were in our fertility process. The short answer is: yes, we are still hopeful, prayerful, and trusting the process. Since that last update, we experienced a brief pause due to additional clinical testing and procedures. While that season required patience, it was necessary to ensure that my body is truly ready for what’s next. So, for those wondering, “Baby Holmes, where are you?” — here’s the update. A few months ago, I underwent a procedure with our fertility clinic. While things went well, our care team determined that another minimally invasive procedure is needed to assess readiness and help provide a clearer timeline. That next procedure is scheduled with my OB for late February. Our hope is that the results will give us more clarity around when we can move forward with our first transfer. Whew — it’s a lot, and this journey is not for the faint of heart. But we are incredibly grateful. Grateful for your prayers, your encouragement, your love, and the way you continue to rally around us. Truly, your support means more than words can express. As many of you know, this journey can be taxing on the mind, body, and soul. Yet, because we are believers and because we are surrounded by such a strong community, we are reminded daily that we are not walking this road alone. We continue to cling to the promise of Jeremiah 29:11, trusting that God’s plans are good, intentional, and full of hope. Thank you for continuing to walk with us. With love, The Holmes 🤍

The Journey Continues
Hey family, Earlier this year, many of you sowed into our journey by contributing to our fundraiser — and we are still so grateful for every prayer, donation, and word of encouragement. If you know anything about the journey of family planning, you know it’s not always easy. It’s filled with time-sensitive appointments, medical approvals, weight requirements, and of course, unexpected expenses. While our initial plan was to begin again in July, life had other plans — but God! 🙌🏽 Through every delay, moment of frustration, and tear shed, He was working things out behind the scenes. After months of preparation, prayer, and focusing on our health, we are finally in a position to move forward — and our hearts are full of hope and gratitude. Over the next month, we’ll be preparing to continue with IVF. We just wanted to say thank you again for believing in us, for giving so generously, and for walking alongside us through this journey. Your donations will go directly toward our upcoming cycle, medical procedures, and all the related expenses that support the preparation for Baby Holmes. With love and gratitude, The Holmes Family 🤍
