I'm raising funds to help cover the cost of IVF and the surgery I had to remove my tubes, as this is the reason why we started our infertility journey. We have to pay everything out of pocket as our insurance doesn't cover fertility treatment and most recently got stuck with large hospital bill for my surgery because of the infertility diagnosis. Our insurance denied coverage for the rest of the surgery. We want to so bad be parents but keep getting these surprises that make the appointments much more harder.
Our journey so far: I've had one failed embryo transfer and am mustering up the courage to have a second one next month. It was heartbreaking to know it didn't work the first time but I am determined to control what I can control and be the healthiest I can be before the next transfer.
What your support covers: It will cover the surgery we are still trying to pay off and for the appointments and medication we need to be on before and after the transfer.
What this would mean to us: Any amount towards our IVF journey would mean the world to us. We got married in 2024 and had hopes of being parents immediately after. I was shocked to know my tubes were blocked, most likely from scar tissue from a ruptured appendix and surgery I had when I was 10. I imagined at this point in my life with at least 2 kids but the emotional and financial stress of IVF makes it hard to see a future with kids. Any help towards our journey would make us so grateful that someone out there supports our journey to becoming parents.
