Erick & Rosarito's IVF Journey

Organised by Erick Garcia · September 16, 2026

Growing our family is something that means so much to both of us. We have been researching IVF and trying to understand every step of the process, but the financial cost has been one of the biggest challenges standing between us and moving forward. I currently serve in the U.S. Army Reserve and am on Active Duty Operational Support (ADOS) orders. We are doing our best to use the resources available to us, including our health insurance, while also preparing ourselves financially for treatment. We understand that receiving a grant is an opportunity, not something we are entitled to, and we would be incredibly grateful for any assistance the review team can provide. This would mean more to us than simply financial help. It would give us an opportunity to pursue our dream of becoming parents and building our family together. We are committed to doing everything we can on our end, and we sincerely appreciate the time and consideration given to our application.

How we'll use the funds: The grant would help cover the costs associated with our IVF treatment, including fertility specialist appointments and monitoring, required testing and laboratory work, fertility medications, egg retrieval, laboratory and embryology services, fertilization and embryo development, and embryo transfer. It would also help with other necessary medical services and treatment- related expenses that may not be fully covered by our health insurance. This financial assistance would help us move forward with the IVF process and give us the opportunity to grow our family.
