Destiney’s IVF Journey

Hi everyone, my name is Destiney, and I’m 24 years old. I’m sharing my story in hopes of receiving support as I begin my journey toward becoming a mother through IVF.

At just 24, I’ve already experienced the heartbreak of ectopic pregnancy and medical complications that resulted in the removal of both of my fallopian tubes. Losing my pregnancy and the ability to conceive naturally has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to face.

Although I can no longer get pregnant naturally, I’m grateful that IVF gives me the opportunity to still carry my own baby and become a mother.

Unfortunately, this journey comes with a significant financial burden. My fertility clinic has quoted $16,825 for IVF with genetic testing, with an additional $4,950 for a frozen embryo transfer. This doesn’t include all the fertility medications, bloodwork, ultrasounds, hormone testing, and other medical expenses I may need.

My fundraising goal is $25,000 to help cover these treatments and give me a chance at motherhood.

I never imagined that at such a young age, I’d have to fight this hard just for the opportunity to have a baby. Despite everything I’ve been through, I’m holding on to hope and refusing to give up on my dream of becoming a mom.
