Cortney & Elizabeth's IVF Journey

My name is Cortney Croskey, and I am 34 years old, living in Bath, MI, with my partner, Elizabeth Harden, and our children. As we embark on our journey to expand our family, I find myself reflecting on the challenges we face and the hope that drives us forward. The main reason I am applying for this grant is simple: we need help. The financial burden of trying to have children can be overwhelming, and I want to do everything I can to ensure that Elizabeth and I can achieve our dream of having children together. The phrase "money, money, money" resonates deeply with us as we navigate this path. It can feel like a constant weight on our shoulders, hindering us from moving forward as we would like. Every step in this journey has been marked by financial strain. From consultations to treatments to medications, the costs quickly add up, and it often feels like we are in a race against time. The prospect of bringing a new life into our home is filled with excitement, but it is also overshadowed by the reality of our financial situation. We want to give our future children the best possible start in life, and that all begins with the ability to access the necessary resources to make that happen. Receiving this grant would mean the world to us. It would be the best help we have ever received and would provide us with the opportunity to focus on what truly matters: our family. With the funds, we could alleviate some of the financial pressure that has been weighing us down. The thought of being able to cover costs and focus on the joy of expecting a child rather than worrying about expenses is a dream we hope to achieve.
