Christie & Steven's Surrogacy Journey

Organised by Christie Taylor · October 27, 2026

For years, we’ve dreamed of becoming parents. Our journey has included infertility, heartbreak, and medical challenges that mean I cannot safely carry a pregnancy. Now, surrogacy is our path to bringing Baby Taylor home.

We’re working hard to make this dream a reality, but the financial costs of surrogacy are substantial. We’ve already tried a puzzle fundraiser and a merchandise collection, and we’re continuing to look for ways to close the gap.

Today, we’re asking our village to help us reach beyond our immediate circle.

Whether you can contribute $10, share this post, connect us with a business that might sponsor our journey, or simply help spread the word, every bit of support matters.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 toward our remaining surrogacy expenses. We’re sharing our story because we know that sometimes the right person sees a post, shares it with a friend, or opens a door we couldn’t have reached on our own.

One day, we hope to tell Baby Taylor about the people who helped make their arrival possible. We cannot wait for that day.

What your support covers:

Your support would help cover the remaining associated costs with surrogacy. Specifically, due to learning during the IVF process that I had significantly decreased egg count, we spent roughly 50% of what we budgeted for this entire journey on creating our one little embryo. We now are left facing the remainder of the costs. We have paid the agency fee, and they are hard at work finding a surrogate that meets our fertility clinic’s requirements. What remains are the legal fees, embryo transfer fees and medical fees for our surrogate, medical care if/when our surrogate becomes pregnant, and our surrogate’s compensation. We are also considering an additional financial incentive, as becoming a surrogate to a family with only one embryo is quite stressful for potential surrogates. Your donation would help us pay these costs and achieve our goal.

The support and outpouring of love we have already received is amazing. Knowing we have an entire village behind us, cheering us on, and praying for us has helped us push through the difficult days. Thank you all for considering helping us and for doing everything you already have! Baby Taylor is SO LUCKY to have you all, and so are we!
