Aubreiauna & Teryion's IUI Journey

My name is Aubreiauna Luckey, and I am 30 years old, living in Burlington, NC, with my partner, Teryion Coleman. For as long as I can remember, my biggest dream has been to start a family. The idea of holding a child that is a part of both Teryion and me brings me so much joy and hope. However, the path to making this dream a reality has been challenging.

I have tried to conceive before, but unfortunately, those attempts did not lead to success. Each month that passed without a positive result weighed heavily on my heart. It felt like a cycle of hope followed by disappointment. Despite these setbacks, my desire to become a parent has only grown stronger. I want nothing more than to share this journey with Teryion and create a loving home for our future family.

One of the biggest challenges I face in this journey is the financial burden of fertility treatments. The costs associated with procedures such as IUI can be overwhelming, and it often feels like a barrier standing in the way of my dream. I want to give myself and Teryion the opportunity to experience the joy of pregnancy, but the financial strain makes it difficult to take the necessary steps forward.

This grant would mean the absolute world to me. It represents not just financial assistance but the possibility of hope and fulfillment. I am currently facing the heartbreaking reality of my father’s illness. He is battling a serious sickness, and time is precious. I long for him to experience the joy of seeing me pregnant before he leaves us. I want him to know that his family is growing and that his love will continue through the next generation. This opportunity would allow me to take a step closer to that dream and create memories that we can cherish together.

I am deeply committed to this journey and hopeful that with support, I can finally take the necessary steps toward parenthood. I believe that family is one of the most important aspects of life, and I am eager to create my own. The chance to pursue IUI with the help of this grant would mean so much to me, not just as a means to an end, but as a way to honor my father and create a legacy of love and hope.
